I have lots of favorite comedians, from silents to present day. Amongst all of them, there's something unique about W.C. Fields. I can't stop laughing out loud. Some part of me says "Come on, that's not really all that funny." And I have friends who absolutely don't think he's funny at all. Is it just his timing? I don't know. I can't explain it. But I think he's hilarious.

Luther will always be our favourite. He was a superb blues man, a brilliant guitarist, songwriter and exceptional vocalist. The complete package. Equally, he would treat you like a human, shake a hand and drink a beer with you. A gentleman who played the blues.
